1) This passage depicts a dispute between God and his people. In your own words, what seems to be the main issue?

2) Can you think of a time when you were unsure of God’s love? How was this problem resolved – or is it still ongoing?

3) What words and images does God use to describe the opposite of his love? How does this description add to or challenge your ideas about God’s love?

4) Write a prayer telling God something that encourages, confuses, or even upsets you in this passage. Ask him to help you more fully understand his love for you.
