1) List the ways God describes himself and his activities in this passage. Based on your list, create a one-sentence description of who God is or what He is like.

2) From both positive and negative statements in this passage, what do you learn about the way God expects to be treated?

3) In what ways have you grown weary of worshipping God? How could your upcoming retreat give you a fresh perspective?

4) Write a prayer telling God honestly about the ways worship has grown tiresome for you. Ask him to renew your attitude toward worship.
